Zoryve for eczema?
Jan. 24, 2024Does anyone have any experience using Zoryve instead or your normal topical creams? My dermatologist gave me a sample for some patches I have on my face and neck. I normally use steroids for my body once in awhile, protopic on the face daily, and Dupixent injections. Doing some research it seems like diarrhea as a common side effect which is a bit worrying since my doctor did not bring that up at all. In fact she said everyone loves it since it doesn't burn like protopic and eucrisa.

Zoryve (Roflumilast) ?
Jan. 30, 2024Ive been on dupixent since March 2023 for my eczema as I previously had it all over my body and was constantly itching. Dupixent was very effective for a while but now the skin behind my knees, inner elbows and neck/face commonly have patches. My dermatologist prescribed me zoryve as a result and I've found it to be very effective (will start working within a day to reduce redness). Has anyone else tried zoryve for atopic dermatitis? What are the long term effects like/ should I be worried about withdrawals like steroids & protopic have? Thank you!!
The medication appears to be very safe, with very few side effects reported. Only 2 out of 91 patients experienced mild treatment-related side effects (a mild rash and moderate application site pain), and only one patient had to stop using the medication due to side effects

Using Zoryve for face eczema
Jan. 21, 2025For some background, I had a very minor case of perioral dermatitis, that resulted in use of tacrolimus (didn't work, used it for 1 week), doxycycline (helped, but developed a reaction), and elidel (didn't do anything for me). The perioral dermatitis I've managed to control with skincare products - and I've "cleared" around 98% of it. However, over this course of use prescription medications, I developed a patch of eczema on my top lip (small and focused on the right side, that thickens, peels, and weeps). Since none of those other topicals worked for me, my dermatologist prescribed Zoryve and told me to use it for two weeks with the hopes that it'll fully make the eczema go away. I've heard a lot of good things about it, but it hasn't been around long enough to determine what the long term effects of using it will be. I've also heard that the side effects are pretty intense as well - but I'm kinda hoping that won't be the case since I'm only using very very little of it. Do you guys have any experience with Zoryve? How were the side effects? Did it clear up your eczema? Thanks for reading :)

Question about Zoryve side effects
Sept. 24, 2024I see people mentioning diarrhea and headaches with using Zoryve (and those are listed as known side effects). I’m curious for those with those side effects: -how much were you using -how long did you use it before side effects started -how long did side effects last? I put a tiny spot on my arm bc I’ve been putting off trying it due to the side effects and haven’t been able to risk those for a while, but I def need to try it before my derm appointment coming up. Would love to hear peoples’ experiences.

Protopic and Zoryve bad side effects?
July 17, 2024I have been experiencing redness, splitting of the skin and itchiness in my butt crack for months. Finally got in to see a dermatologist and she without hesitation prescribed me 2 creams. Zoryve 0.3 for morning and protopic 0.1 percent for night, she wants me to treat it for 2 months and come back for reassessment. When I went to get the prescription filled the pharmacist seemed to think it was an extremley aggressive treatment and to expect many side effects. Of course my dermatologist didn't mention any of this other then it may get worse before it gets better. I just got a bunch of other health issues under control and am finally feeling good again. My concerns woth protopic are apparently it's common for symptoms to reoccur as soon as you stop? My biggest concern is with Zoryve, migraines, nausea, insomnia, stomach issues and pain at the site of application? Has anybody actually used this and had no side effects? I want to try and fix it but not if I have to deal with all these other things..
Roflumilast cream is a non-steroid treatment option, which may be beneficial for patients who are concerned about using steroid-based treatments

Zoryve Long Term Use Side Effects (Anxiety?)
Oct. 27, 2024Hi All, I've had eczema since I was a child. In my mid 20s, I began experiencing flare ups on my eyelids. I was patch tested but was not allergic to anything of significance. As my facial flare ups got worse, last year in 2023, I was prescribed Zoryve 0.3%. It was amazing how quickly it worked to clear me up. My eczema was relentless though and I had to continue using it long term to keep my face clear. I used it for 9 moths straight with no significant side effects. I will say I have always been somewhat an anxious person, but after 9 months of being on Zoryve, as I was going through a stressful period at work, I began suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. I had never experienced this before. I wasn't sure if the medication being so new could have caused something down the road to make me feel this way. I stopped using the medication and I felt my anxiety got better. My workload at work also got better. However, I know that Roflumilast, the active ingredient in Zoryve can cause some mental health side effects when taken as a pill for COPD patients. Has anyone felt any anxiety or panic after being on Zoryve long term? I can't tell if it's just me or if the medication played a part. I did like the medication as it worked but I just didn't like feeling that way. Curious if anyone has experienced anything similar with Zoryve. I took a break from it for a few months until the eczema version would be released. Currently, now that is approved for eczema I am using the 0.15% version, hoping that this weaker version won't cause side effects as much.
